Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CodeExorcist website and the paid review services we offer (“Services”). By accessing our site, submitting a booking, or completing payment, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
CodeExorcist provides human review of web applications and related deliverables according to the plan you select (for example, Basic, Full, or Deep). The exact scope, turnaround expectations, and deliverables are described on our website and in your order confirmation. We may decline or pause work if access materials are incomplete, unsafe, or violate applicable law.
2. What we need from you
You agree to provide accurate contact information and legitimate access to what we need to perform the review (such as repository access, URLs, or files you are authorized to share). You represent that you have the right to share any code, data, or links you send us.
3. Code fixes vs. review-only
GitHub access or an editable project archive may allow us to propose or merge fixes within the scope of your plan. Live URL–only submissions receive a written review without patches to your codebase, as described on our site. Features and limits depend on the plan you purchased and what is technically and safely possible in your stack.
4. Payments
Fees are listed on our pricing page. Payment is processed by Stripe. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown at checkout. Prices may change for future purchases; changes will not affect fees already paid.
5. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your application, code, and materials. We receive a limited right to use them solely to perform the Services. Reports and feedback we provide are for your internal use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
6. Confidentiality
We treat your non-public materials as confidential in the ordinary course of providing the Services. If you require a separate non-disclosure agreement, contact us before you pay so we can align on terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are consultative. We do not guarantee a particular business outcome, app store approval, security certification, or that all issues will be found or fixed. The Services are not a substitute for legal counsel, formal penetration testing, or compliance audits.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeExorcist and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your app, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights—except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
10. Termination
We may suspend or stop work if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or create safety or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations) will survive termination.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply. You and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for disputes subject to this section, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may also notify you by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
